BACHFAR Multiple Units
In 2002 the first re-released DMUs appeared, these were 2-Car 158s in Central Trains, First North Western and Alphaline Wales & West liveries, also a 3-Car 158 in Northern Spirit (not Northern Sprite as on the box). These all feature blackened finescale wheelsets, some impressive printing but the old chassis using spring drive.
There was then a gap of over 2 years before the next DMU appeared, this was the first of the class 170 units - the initial livery being Midland Mainline in 2-Car form. The new DMUs now incorporated the new and much better running split frame chassis.
Into 2005 a whole glut of 170s/158/159s and the AEC Railcar were released, mostly in new liveries. The 3-Car 170 and 168 arrived late in 2006.
At the 2006 Toyfair Bachmann announced that they were going to produce the Class 150 in both /1 and /2 variants and in a multitude of liveries.
The 2008 Toyfair brought an announcement of a new DMU the 108.
